Uber Wants to Threaten Those Who Stand in it’s Way
Uber operates illegally
This is of interest – again it goes back to my point that Uber and Lyft will praise Nashville as ‘innovative’ but if a citytakes a stance against it, they turn into aggressive law breakers, encourage drivers to drive and let them cover the citations, and worse, you can see the intentions of Uber execs. They may not be able to legally execute but you can see their intentions to silence anyone who stands in their way. So Nashville needs to know and be warned of the intent to intimidate the city into compliance with Uber and services like Lyft.
Also your ride history may be up for sale. Uber says it’s employees can review your ride history for ‘legitimate business purposes. But sadly that can be anything, just look at how your data is ALREADY sold for things you opt in to. So don’t go anywhere you wouldn’t want plastered on the front page of the New York Times, at least not on Uber or Lyft. Nice thing about at Taxi – no personal information is left behind if you pay cash. Uber and Lyft, not so much. http://www.theverge.com/2014/11/18/7244141/uber-denies-that-its-employees-can-look-at-your-rider-history
