15 minutes away, but coming via 4 hrs away.

15 minutes away, but coming via 4 hrs away.

This was coming from Goodwill of Middle TN up by the airport, 15 minutes away. It was scheduled here for delivery TOMORROW. And then for some reason the Post Office sent it to MEMPHIS, 4 hrs away and is delaying delivery until Saturday. I think I know of a way to save the Post Office, prevent closures, stop stamp rate hikes, and save their pensions. Fix their routing and scanning systems. Last month I had a CERTIFIED letter come from Bellevue, TN (25 min away) via San Antonio TX. The Feds should hire me, I’ll bring down costs. I’ll simply use a zip code book and common sense. ‪#‎uspostalservice‬

If the post office keeps doing this, then they have only themselves to blame for post office closures, rate hikes, pension problems, and general issues.  Patrick Donahoe should look at this. He could save the post office!

All you have to do is stop sending things 1000 miles away when they are just 25 minutes apart, stop sending things 200 miles away when they are just 15 minutes apart!
Patrick, I can SAVE THE POST OFFICE! You are adding costs by handling packages like this! Give me a horse, a sack, and a pony express t-shirt and we’ll go back to the good old days where mail was delivered with common sense.
Seriously, we can save the post office…together!
A confused but loyal postal customer,

This is what happened last time: A certified letter – tracked from Nashville TN to Nashville TN…took a trip to Texas in between.

post-2

Nashville to Nashville via San Antonio Texas. And it didn’t even bring me back any Texas South West food! I can lower costs, save pensions, save the post office, and prevent further postal increases. Just by using a zip code book and common sense! I CAN SAVE THE POST OFFICE AND YOUR POSTAL JOBS!
