McDonalds Operator Ted and Judy Lyon’s operation followed up with us and apologized for the incident. They have no idea whether the spider got in the cup through the supply chain or in their store. They stated that pest control regulations in the fast food industry are very strict and that there isn’t much they can do beyond something like a fly strip.

In the irony of ironies they sent our customer a coupon for a free coffee. The customer doesn’t drink coffee. We appreciate their attention to this issue.
